What Is It About?

 Give new salon employees a clear, safety-focused introduction to the professional grooming environment. This course covers salon etiquette, workplace expectations, common employment documents, grooming tools and equipment, leash and collar safety, pet handling, lifting and transfers, grooming restraints, and recognizing challenging pet behavior. 

Employees will also learn how different salon roles support the business, what employers commonly evaluate, and how to use the Company Orientation Worksheet to understand their salon’s procedures, expectations, and opportunities for advancement. Company-specific policies and procedures should always take priority.
